Progress reports provide an interim opportunity to bring information
to the attention of students and their parents.
While lines of communication between home and school are always
kept open, progress reports - sent out every 8 weeks for preschool,
primary and elementary students, and every 4 weeks for middle years
students - help to pinpoint areas for action or discussion.
The progress
report is a simple statement, acknowledging whether a child’s
social, emotional and academic development is meeting expectations.
If not, suggestions will be made and appropriate
measures taken.
