Curriculum-Support Classes
Rounding out the classroom curriculum are the support classes High Meadows Preschool offers its students. Music, Spanish, Physical Education and Environmental Education further the goal to develop the whole child. Additionally, the preschoolers ride the campus ponies each week. Not only do the ponies help introduce children to the proper care of animals, but horseback riding also strengthens balance and coordination. Furthermore, riding ponies each week offers the children a newfound sense of independence. The Preschool also offers a self-contained, age-appropriate playground, where children from all four classes are encouraged to know one another and play together.
Instilling a love of learning and developing the whole child are formidable charges for teachers of the very young, and High Meadows meets these challenges head-on. At High Meadows Preschool, we commit to serve each child developmentally and to embrace the family as part of the experience. |
