Roswell's High Meadows performs 'Place of Enchantment'
April 09, 2008
Students from High Meadows Schools in Roswell recently performed the "Place of Enchantment," a play that tells the true story of Mardy and Olaus Murie and the friends they meet in the wilderness of Wyoming. As pioneers of the American Wilderness Movement, the Murie's story is significant to the history of environmentalism in the United States. The performance included campfire cooking and live music with the banjo and fiddle, provided by several High Meadows School teachers. The students are members of the High Meadows Middle Years Drama and Technical Theater classes. |
