State music convention to feature High Meadows Ensemble

 The High Meadows Music Ensemble, directed by Paula Williams and assistants Sarah Dietrich and Mike Perdue, were chosen to perform at the 2008 Georgia Music Educators' Association Convention in Savannah. Their original show, "I Wish," was inspired by the individual wishes of the members and featured percussion, chorus, wind instruments, fiddle, and an original student composition. The 33-member Music Ensemble is in its third year of existence as an extra-curricular music activity at High Meadows and the students spent almost one year preparing for this concert. |
