Environmental Studies Overview - A Journey of Discovery
To educate and empower our community of learners, High Meadows provides an environmental studies program, E.E.A.R.R.T.H. (Education, Empowerment, Action, Respect, and Responsibility to Help). “Falling in love” with special places and animals at High Meadows and the nearby community, relating nature and environmental issues to our lives in positive ways, and using cross-curriculum discovery learning and service projects that include Character Education, are all a part of our journey.
Students are also involved in the Junior Master Gardener program, G.L.O.B.E. (Global Learning and Observations to Benefit the Environment), Adopt-A-Stream, River of Words, and Chattahoochee Nature Center’s Junior Naturalists program.
