Unrestricted
gifts ensure that funds are available for the areas of highest
priority and greatest need. On the other hand, targeted, or
restricted, gifts are donor-directed contributions given with
the intent of funding specific needs or programs. Usually these
gifts are of a size that covers most or all of the cost of
the particular need or program. An example of a targeted gift
is the Henry-Aspinall Scholarship Fund, which was made possible
by a donor who had a particular interest in providing seed
money for a scholarship fund. High Meadows is able to accept
targeted gifts consistent with the school’s mission,
goals, and development priorities.

Henry/Aspinall Scholarship
Fund
To promote diversity and assist those
in financial need, the Henry/Aspinall Scholarship Fund was created
in 1999 with a donation from one family and matching funds from
BellSouth. Scholarships are awarded to recipients based on the
candidate’s demonstrated financial need.
If you are interested in contributing to the fund,
or in receiving application guidelines, please contact Julie McCarren in our Development Department or call (770) 993-2940.
