Celebrating a Year of Growth & Gratitude!

It’s hard to believe 2025 is already coming to a close! This school year has been filled with joyful moments, meaningful connections, and the kind of learning that reminds us why High Meadows is such a special place. As you know first-hand, there are not many schools as magical as High Meadows. Maybe it’s the quality of our teaching and the emphasis on inquiry-based, hands-on curriculum. Perhaps it’s our faculty’s extraordinary love and respect for children and childhood, or our deep commitment to nurturing a connection with the natural world. Or maybe it’s the way our teachers give students both choice and voice in their learning, all while helping shape kind, caring, empathetic, resilient young adults. 
We are grateful to be in a position to provide the robust educational experience that our families expect and cherish. Meeting our High Meadows Fund goal each year ensures that we can be responsive not only to the essential needs of our students and campus, but also to the extra tools, ideas, and opportunities teachers and students dream of exploring. The Fund allows us to confidently “say YES” to the moments that enrich the day-to-day High Meadows experience for every student.

  • Additional staffing across campus including barn support, rooster/stay ’n’ play, substitutes, and more.
  • Bus rentals for the 4/5 field trip
  • Supplies for the Sandwich Project, empowering student-led service
  • Specialized tools and materials that deepen and support student learning
  • Items that complement units of study, especially when student curiosity sparks deeper exploration
  • Divergent Adolescent Training for teachers
  • Robust professional development, giving faculty opportunities to attend conferences, trainings, and workshops to keep our educational approach current and knowledgeable
  • Music guest teachers, providing band students with expert-led lessons during the school day 


 
Facilities enhancements made possible through your generosity include:
  • New safety blinds in Pre-K
  • A new sandbox and patio behind the Early Years building
  • Improvements to the 4/5 Commons
  • A new alarm system in the Library
  • Renovations to Crawford Cabin and the Early Years adult bathroom
  • A much-needed golf cart for Camp
