In just thirty days, they came together as an international community to resolve 22 complex global crises, from climate change and land disputes to nuclear proliferation, while even providing refuge for asylum seekers. And that was only the beginning.
As the World Peace Game progressed, the Inspector General of the United Nations was kidnapped by mercenaries, defense ministers defected and stole hundreds of millions of dollars from their home countries, and for the first time in years, arms dealers seized control of an island. From there, they bombed the world with impunity in pursuit of global domination. When the World Court issued arrest warrants, the arms dealers responded by constructing an Iron Dome and destroying any submarines that came within striking distance.
Eventually, the Prime Minister of Meradia felt obligated to stop the bloodshed caused by these rogue actors and launched a nuclear missile at the island. Although the missile was intercepted by the Iron Dome, research by the sages revealed that it still caused nuclear fallout, disabling the arms dealers’ power grid and communication systems. This turning point allowed world leaders, during the final two days of the game, to refocus their efforts on resolving the last three crises and finishing with more money in their respective budgets than at the start of the game.
I n the final minutes, through collaboration, determination, and sheer grit, they succeeded. Snowman’s Land sold ten hydrogen fuel cells at no profit to address climate change. Sandy Shores withdrew troops from a contested island shared with Green-Land in exchange for dividing a portion of the treasure, bringing both nations up to the desired budget reserves. Finally, in an extraordinary act of trust between former enemies, Meradia sold a nuclear missile to Sandy Shores. This helped Meradia, a country long plagued by natural disasters and sustained bombing campaigns by the arms dealers, to increase its total available budget past the goal of $998 billion.
With that, the 2026 World Peace Games came to an end, adding yet another victory to High Meadows’ unbroken record.
